Frequently asked questions

Real questions about both halves of Calculatorexe — the Shopify Product Extractor and the grade & GPA calculators. Still stuck? The extractor guide walks through every mode step by step.

Shopify Product Extractor

Is the Shopify Product Extractor really free?

Yes. The tool is free to use, with no account, no watermark and no per-product fee. It runs on free-tier hosting and is supported by advertising, which is why the site carries ads once approved — the extractor itself costs nothing to use.

Which websites can I extract products from?

Shopify stores, WooCommerce (WordPress) stores, Salesforce Commerce Cloud stores such as Khaadi and Sapphire, custom Laravel/Vue stores such as Kamalia Khaddar, and most other sites that publish standard product data (JSON-LD or OpenGraph) or a normal price-and-gallery page layout. The platform is detected from the page itself, not the URL.

What exactly do I get in the CSV?

A Shopify import file with the exact 96 columns of Shopify’s own product export: title, description (HTML), vendor, type, tags, variants with SKUs, prices and compare-at prices, inventory defaults, every product image as image rows, and all six store markets marked as included. You upload it at Shopify Admin → Products → Import with no column mapping.

Can it copy a whole store, not just one product?

Yes. Whole-store mode takes just the shop’s homepage. WooCommerce stores hand over their catalogue through their Store API, Shopify stores through their product list, Laravel/Vue stores through the category data feeds found in their sitemap, and other stores through sitemap and category crawling — up to 100 products per run.

What about collections and categories?

Paste the collection or category URL with the collection box ticked. Shopify collections, WooCommerce categories, Salesforce category pages (the tool follows their pagination — 24 per page on Khaadi, 48 on Sapphire) and Kamalia-type category feeds all work, up to 100 products.

Why did one of my products fail?

The results table always says why. The usual reasons: the store blocks automated tools (HTTP 403), rate-limits them (429), hides the price behind a login, or loads everything with JavaScript that leaves no product data in the page. A failed product never invents data — and it never stops the rest of your batch.

The compare-at (“was”) price is missing. Why?

If the product isn’t on sale at the source, there is no compare price to copy. Some stores also keep it out of their page data (the tool checks their data feeds and strikethrough prices before giving up). If you want a strikethrough price anyway, set the compare-at markup % — the CSV then calculates one from your selling price.

Which currency are the prices in?

The source store’s currency, copied as-is — the tool never converts currencies. Note that some brands serve regional stores by location (Khaadi shows its PK store in Pakistan, its US store elsewhere), so the prices you get are the ones that storefront shows.

Is it legal to copy products like this?

Only copy products you have the right to sell and describe — for example your own products listed on another platform, a supplier who has authorised you, or a store you are migrating. Product photography and description text belong to the source store; the safest practice is to use the extraction as a starting point and write your own descriptions.

Do you store the products I extract?

No. Your links are fetched on demand by our server to build your CSV in your browser. We keep no account, no product database and no copy of your CSV. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including how advertising cookies work.

Grade & GPA calculators

Are the grade and GPA calculators free?

Yes — every calculator on Calculatorexe is free, needs no sign-up, and runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to a server or stored.

How is the score I need on my final calculated?

Needed = (Target − Current × (1 − w)) ÷ w, where w is the final exam weight as a decimal. If the result is above 100%, that target is mathematically out of reach in that course, and the calculator says so plainly instead of printing a meaningless number.

Why can’t I just average my semester GPAs?

Because semesters carry different credit loads. A 3.8 over 12 credits and a 3.2 over 18 credits do not average to 3.5 — the 18-credit semester counts for more. The cumulative GPA calculator uses quality points (grade points × credits) instead, which is the method registrars use.

What GPA do I need to reach my target?

Required = [Target × (credits done + future credits) − Current GPA × credits done] ÷ future credits. The target GPA calculator does this for you and flags targets that are already secured or not reachable in the credits you have left.

How are UK degree classifications worked out?

Most universities take a credit-weighted average of module marks, combine years with a set weighting (for example 33% second year, 67% final year), and compare the result with the boundaries: 70 for a First, 60 for a 2:1, 50 for a 2:2 and 40 for a Third. Results within about two marks of a boundary are often reviewed as borderline cases.

What does an EZ grader do?

It subtracts the number of wrong answers from the total questions, divides by the total and multiplies by 100, then matches the percentage to a letter grade on your chosen scale. Our EZ grader supports plus/minus scales, half points and a printable grading chart.

Are these calculator results official?

No. They are planning estimates built from the published formulas, which each calculator page shows in full. Your school, college or university sets the official rules — including borderline, rounding and grade-replacement policies — and those always prevail.

Do the calculators work on phones?

Yes. Every calculator and the product extractor are designed mobile-first: forms stack, inputs are large enough to tap accurately, and wide tables scroll inside their own container rather than breaking the page layout.
